One of the Good Things about having been unwell
is that I am attending more carefully to what I eat.
I stopped eating meat recently,
and a natural extension of that is to explore alternative possibilities more intently than hitherto.
This fine book, above, which I first found at my library (before I got ill), and have now ordered from the book depository, is lovely.
I like everything about it. It teaches me good things, helps me get info fast, and is beautiful.
It is going to help me in my convalescence.
Isn't that a fine evocative word - convalescence?
And my 'dashboard' dictionary suggests meanings of recovery, and growing strong.
It carries a sense of taking/giving time, too.
So I'll be convalescing a while longer overhere -
today I am not sure if I am done with the actual illness yet,
but I could be.
I'm definitely heading in the right direction now...
And for this, I am truly grateful.
Thankful, too, for these Soul Wonderfood People, and their fine work:
(Lovely Lani kindly introduced me to Rebbie today).
