Many times have I sung Lani's praises, and given thanks for her bright Leonine friendship.
Once more, now - a big cheer for Lani, whose new post with slides sent me flying;
first to Red Velvet, and Judy's mighty Numbers project there,
and then to Make My Own slide Thing.
This could be the first of many, many little slideshow projects by jaihn.
This is the kind of creative possibility I was longing for a decade ago in the clunky early days of Premiere editing.
Oh the hours, the crashes of incapable, overloaded machines; the frustrations of having a vision that is faster than the technotools can manage.
Early Final Cut Pro didn't do it for me either, and I fell off the end of my patience with digital moving picture making, till a few hours ago...
Today the online technotools are doing what I imagined then. So easily. So very, very easy, now, to create some things.
My thanks to all the people who worked to create the slide site, and to make it freely available.
"Focus" is indeed the word.
And sometimes soft focus shows me what I have been longing to see.
