This day...
Another Tuesday rolls on through.
Mercury retro was messing with my reception during the early part of CM's radio show, so I was rather less settled into making this pic, than for some previous ones.
Still, there's a Thing going on with the weekly 'listen and draw and post' ritual that I am curious to follow through with. So, here is tonight's unique expression. It clicks much bigger.
I've been enjoying a new phenomenon this week - exploration of (the online presence of) a politician who appears to be a deeply authentic and inspiring human being. It's not something I have witnessed in my Lifetime. And he took birth less than a year before I did.
I'd say if one of your main slogans is Yes We Can, then you are, at the very least, going to enjoy the ride between here and November. It seems like many, many others agree. And so much more than enjoyment is abroad.
I'm glad I don't live amidst the full intensity of those Goings On, all the way through the next ten months ~ though the unfolding of Mr O's journey will be so rich to observe, from overhere. What happens overthere is interwoven with what happens overhere, naturally.
For the sheer in-the-moment beauty of eloquence, I recommend a viewing of this one. (There are about three minutes of thankyou's, then he gets going, for half an hour. Make a date, have a cup of tea, witness.)
Alice Walker is fond of him too.
As is his lovely wife. (That's part one, there are also 2,3, and 4; all worth watching.)
And he can d a n c e.
And inspire others to make music to keep on keepin on to.
And and and.
This day will never come again.
