Belated, honoured, gratitude to Lani for bestowing the lovely Arte y pico award on me a while back.  Click pic to see where it all started.

Travels and travails have rather got in the way of my either acknowledging it or doing the pay-it-forward dance, and my wrists are still asking for minimal keyboard overhere.

So this is a short-form, big-felt, ThankYou Lani, for this, for now.
I'll do the full version,  as and when.


Baby blackbird news involved a strange traumadrama, which is best left offscreen, really. Suffice to say the nest is empty again now, and I miss my little feathered family.
Some of them are still around. I hear chirrups, somewhere, in the area.
