As often happens, a trip over to lovely Lani's cyberhouse has sent me romping along into new creativities.

She pointed me to A Year Of Color, which I hastily signed in to. Since I have been mad for white all January, I don't feel like I missed out...
And I just enjoyed a wonder-full cyber-safari through the month's postings.

Anyways; given that this is the last day of the BlueWhite month overthere, I thought I'd throw together a quick mosaic from my flickrfaves. So many of them are of the blue-white persuasion.  Scan down the page here to see more glimpses of blue-white love.

So here is my first post made to celebrate my new colo(u)r-full participant year. Last day, first day... Here we are Now, moving on through.

Mercury is stationary today. It always gets a little backtofront overhere in the turning times....  Zoooooom went January. ZooooomZooooom went the retro window.

Welcome, New Earth Ox

 As a Tigress, I haven't hithero been the greatest fan of what I call the Buffaloes. The Ox, in Chinese Astrology. We are different kinds of big.

Though I like that Barack O is Ox, to shoulder all the heavy-dooty work, and to keep on keeping on, like they do.

But, here we are in our new Earth Ox year;  Buffalo time again, and whatcanyedo but welcome it and give thanks.

I've had a fun image-voyage, finding my critters for the new year, as has become tradition on truly spacious. And previously on truly playroom, too. I seem to recall some cheekens and dogs overthere...

I'm going for a kind of Ox - Buffalo - Yak - Nandi amalgam this year.
I learned about Nandi at the V and A site. They have an Ox show online there.

I like this:

"An essential element in any Shiva temple is the image of Nandi, the sacred bull-calf, whose name means 'joyfulness' or 'blissfulness'. Axial Ox.  That feels right, for now.

in a time of newness

IIt may be good to re-read That Speech sometimes. That's it, in written form. 
And here it is in video form.

(Did you spot Merc retro playing with the oath word-order, and then the oath being re-spoken the following day?!)

I loved seeing the Beauty and Grace shining through so many many faces onscreen this week.
I loved seeing Coolio cry, later, too, like I often cry when I see Mr Obama being the fierce Soul Inspirer.
I reckon some of the change Barack will bring will come when people of lesser integrity are simply gazed upon by his deep-steady laserbeams. I can only imagine the transformative quality of the forcefield directly around him.
I loved what Coolio said, about feeling him so strongly, through the screen. I felt him first when I heard him talk (onscreen) about a war not being wise. I had never heard a politician use the word 'wise' like they truly know what it means. I started to check further, to see if what I was feeling could be leaned into. Clearly; yes.
I enjoyed his book; 'Dreams from My Father', for all kinds of reasons.  I really recommend reading it.

Ancient Love

I saw 'A History of Scotland' last night, (first episode viewable online for six more days), and it set me off on an old passion - Pictish Stones. I fell in Love with them A Long Time Ago.
