A post in which i want to say:
'Syntax' is one of those words I just cannot get my head round.
It has me feelin like a dunce, so to speak.
As an alternative to getting too bound up in comprehension crazyness, I've been doing some crayonning and penning, ripping, gluing and snapping.
It's the best thing for it when this dunceghost thing comes upon me.
Speaking of collage - and it is on my speak-menu these days - Jane Davies' newly delivered 'Collage Journeys' book is pleasing and inspiring me. (Thanks to seein it, I think, at L K Ludwig's The Poetic Eye. Her own Mixed-media Nature Journals is also singing sweetly to me.)
Mary Ann's archives, ~ along with eb's ~ continue to astonish, enchant and unsettle me, in the sense of makin me want to get to work in new ways. And making me pine for bright sunshine, and more heat.
Preparing for some splashing and 'sploring. Boxes of potential are being taken from shelves where they landed overhere, on arrival in my new home.
Actually they landed on the floor first, since there were no shelves of which to speak, or on which to put, five months since...
But now there are shelves, and the possibility of splashing and letting rip a little more freely, which is what I think the unsettledness is asking of me now.
We'll see.
Thank you for coming by, if you do.
Good creative weekend wishes for us all.
